Are you having yours shipped to you or are you making a run down there to pick it up? I might be able to get enough to buy the hood but another $150 in shipping would kill it. Wonder if we could get discounted shipping if a few people from MN got in on this.

hey Jason,this is probably a dumb question but im gonna ask it anyway,is this Rex Orr's company doing this or is it another company?? if it isnt Rex's company,what happens if we signed up for that raffle & win a hood??if it is Rex's company than say we pay for a hood on this group buy,will he refund the money to us??

 

That is actually a very good question, but heres the scoop. This IS NOT REX'S COMPANY (ASCD) This is for Ramairhood.com's ram air hood which is one of our site sponsers as well as is rexs company, American Sports Car Design. I pretty sure that he would not refund ur money if u won one of his hoods and already bought a RAII from ramairhood.com. He would refund ur money though if u bought one of his hoods and then won another one. I would ask rex this question and see what he says. BTW I dont think theirs is as good a quality as ramairhood.coms RAII. IMO

If you are debating on getting this hood, I would strongly suggest it. When will u find this hood these cheap again? You can press ur luck with Rex's hood raffel but chances are not that great of winning. Plus why wait for one every month, when u can buy one for dirt cheap now and enjoy it intime for summer! If you can find someone around you to ship to the same place, shipping WILL be cheaper. Just a thought, but time IS running out so get in while u can or miss out!

Thanks Man, here's a pic with more light in it and with a junk performer intake on it. with the LT1 intake i think i should be running about 350-375hp, maybe if im lucky i guess, but anyways we need 2 more....... ok ok ok ill just buy 3 hoods

yeah if you can get it cheeper than the $575 i paid for it i'd go for it even with shipping that would barely cost what i paid for the hood ALONE of course i was one of the first people to get the hoods i've had it little over a year now and it looks great! it really sets the car apart from any other 3rd gen in your area, its so good i slapped it on my car unpainted with ry wheels and still the charcoal grey color it was when i bought it, and still got more attention at the local car show then the cars actually in it! one of the sweetest hoods yet!
