front license plate
I swapped out the stock slotted Z28 grille i had , the z28 license plate holder doesnt seem to work on the fog light grille, are they 2 different plate holders from a z28 and an IROC or RS plate holder?

It depends on what state you live in actually. In Texas we are required to have both. But they usually don't mess with you for not having a front license plate.

I've had my plate off for almost a year now, and no tickets, even been pulled over for speeding and no tickets. My friends dads a cop, he said It was illegally placed, but no one would ever ticket me for it in VA...

i got pulled over for having no front license plate.... but it was like 3 in the morning at the time, and he was just using it as his reason to search the car for any alcohol/drugs... he was cool about it, he let me off with a warning... at the time i was under 18, and at that age you aren't supposed to be out after 12 driving...
well, i have thrown it in the lower passenger side corner of my windshield and have never had trouble since....
