this is the interior that was in it.

 

Mods in progress, tune port the 305, 2000 camaro clothe interior, straight pipes, jet under drives and tint my tail light with some custom black clear coat. thats about it for now.

 

Looks pretty decent. Just a little clean up and you're set. I don't like the red dash much though.

 

yea thats why i decided to put camaro interior, i`m gonna repaint it cuz the bondo coming off it, and paint a ghost bird on the hood. i originally got it for 200 bux for a parts car but it seemed to easy to restore to cut it up. had no motor or trans.

 

well if thats an 84 somebody replaced that bumper on it. the interior looks like an 84 but that bumper is definitely not 84.

but it looks good.. could use some cleaning up though

 

The interior looks like that out of an 84?? Look again. The door panels are 85+, the center console is that of an 85+, def not 84, the dash, albeit red, is not an 84 dash either, it too is an 85+, those seats could be out of an 84 though I guess. And I honestly do not like the look of the 91-92 bumper at all, it looks way too out of place on that car, and I have never liked the look of that bumper to the style of the thirdgens (91-92 owners don't hate). I had an 83, so that's why I was able to spot all of the differences in the interior. Other than that, looks good, keep us up on the progress.

 

Stingraye, I noticed all of those things in the interior also. What's strange is i plan on doing the same thing using a later interior in my 84 TA, but i want to keep the 84 dash pad and i'm definately keeping the 84 front bumper! you have to recognize the year somehow :-)

 

the dash pad is a pre 85 and so are the door handles and the piece around the speedo is from over 85.. it ahs bits and pieces of stuff

 

looks like it has some serious potential, keep us updated on the progress!

 

yea the guy i got it from was gonna build a race only car out of it.this car actually used to be red, yea the guy also put 92 bumpers, tail lights and hood, this car has been through alot the guy had also blocked the hole for the heater box up with beer cans an buetal lol. as for the center consol there is none. the guy put a hack saw to it to put a ripper shifter in.
