i think kandied was being sarcastic because his rims are 18's and i think might even be bigger then 8" wide and hes got a drop on his car.

i didnt even notice that, i can kind of almost sort of maybe understand how people want a car that looks good, and put that before performance. Hey i mean even im putting a cage and stereo in my car before i do more performance mods (mind you im already in the high 13's). But seriously if your car looks that good its just embarassing when you have a girl in the passenger seat and are getting roasted by civics. Also adding 18" wheels to a 3.1 is going to make your car even slower youre engine is not going to be happy about making those huge *** wheels turn

how bout i already got a choice between a 455/t400 combo or a 383/t56 combo
which means i need a lil 4 banger beater car to drive to work!!

well im just wondering if they fit cuz my neighbor across the way at my apt is a asst manager at discount tire and and can cut me some more slack

and i got some expenses that r a lil more IMPORTANT then my car (woah! that was hard to type!) aka...a lil ring that costs as much as a engine

they will fit, kandied has 18x8 in the front and 18x9.5 or 10 in the rear. You can fit a 9.5 up front if you want to .

for a decent drop no wider then 8's up front and if your going to run wider then a 9 in the rear you need to adjust your backspacing accordingly.

typically a 4.75 and 5.75 is a good range for the backspacing your talking. i had to go 6.75 in the rear with the 10's in order to drop it right which required cutting off the bumpstops and hammering a few select spots but it works perfect.

I'ld toss in the 455 th400 but if you want something thats going to just bolt in go with the 383. Which 455 is it Buick, Olds, or Pontiac? Your car looks great it's time to make it fast.
