Thanks for the sticky. And please if you do send something to GM do it respectfully we don't want this to backfire on us.

Put up here by me. This is more important than you think in getting back a V8 RWD Chevrolet Coupe with the Camaro name on it. (this coupe is coming, the name is the problem because of legal issues) Even though this is ThirdGen.Org, I wanna see the Camaro continue with the 5th Gen. (which it most likely will ) Send nicely written e-mails only.

NOTE: Do not make a new topic in response to this post. Chances are that you will get an automated reply from GM after sending in your e-mail, read here: https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=228695

I would just like to reiterate a point made a few times in the thread over there-

If you send a letter, make it appear professional. Don't cuss GM out and call them all sorts of names for discontinuing the Camaro. Chances are they won't even read it if you do. But if they do read it, it just makes us all look like fools. Keep it clean and maybe the Camaro (and Firebird?) will live on once again. Thanks.

Lutz mentions the Camaro... a good sign?

GM's Vice Chairman Bob Lutz mentions the Camaro in his latest entry on the GM Fastlane blogs. In my opinion, this is a potentially good sign, because if someone as high profile as Bob Lutz feels the need to stir up the enthusiast pot, then something is cooking. Our words are being heard, thirdgenners. Keep the support going, and 2007 (or whenever) may become the reality we are hoping for.

Like the article says, if you are a Camaro fan you might wanna pay extra attention to the 06 NAIAS.
