Things are still going great (grrrrr)

As some of you may know, I haven't been having the best of times with my car lately. Today seems to be going the same way. I was driving to school (late) and hear a thud. When I look in my mirrior there is a black thing approx. a foot tall rolling down the street I was like "oh @#$%." but I couldn't check to see what it was or I would lose credit. When I get to school I see a nice 8" gash in my p/s door. The whole class period was wasted because none of the our scan tools work for my car so I couldn't adjust my TPS. When I got out of class I went straight to where whatever it was hit my car. I found it but am not exactly sure what it was. I think it was an engine cover from a 4 cyl. Will show pictures of cover and scratch soon. Why is it that the people who care about their cars are the ones that get screwed over?

Sorry for ranting,
Peace

I'll have a pic soon. I probably exaggerated the size 'cause I was pissed. My shop theacher said it looked like the backing plate off a tractor.

I had that happen to me, except it was with a 1'x3" peice of asphault go under my car. It took out my oil pan, bent my tranny pan, bent my floor board under the drivers rear seat. Gahh. And anyone who has ever replaced an oil pan in their car knows how much of a PITA it is. Oh thats while keepin the motor in the car.

Eventually that motor blew from lack of oil...due to a pick-up screen falling off. would have been fine if I never hit that peice, but I got my 356 out of it so Im not complaining!
