if your wheels are scratched and nicked they can still be refurbished I think. I had a place here in IL that refurbished wheels do mine. he showed me an explorer wheel that had like half the lip sheared off and said they could repair it but wasn't worth it because there are so many good wheels around. but the later z28 wheels are getting hard to find now because of the problem of the different offsets and people crashing the cars destroying the front wheels. here is a pic of mine. they look perferct, lifetime warranty on the gelcoat from cracking too!

here is a shot you can see how nice the gel coat is, very shiny. they actually did a little polishing of the wheel before they coated it. sorry the wheel isn't the focus of the shot, wasn't what I was going for when I took the pic but thought it might help. did I mention they did them for 90 bucks a wheel!!!!!

I couldn't find any place cheap enough to recondition mine, cheapest was $150 a wheel. So it wasn't worth it when I could get a new set for the price of having them reconditioned.Your wheels came out nice btw.

I did just the opposite. Had the body color RS wheels, painted them charcoal gray when I resprayed the car. The body color was just too monochrome for me. Now I'm looking for a set of polished 18" IROC's
