i need to know where to buy just single LED bulbs and how to wire em up, im going to drill into the back of an old headlight and inserte some LED bulbs, and im going to do the same with the rear lights in a design so they shine through the blackouts.

I can't help you on getting it done, but I saw a Lexus concept car at the Houston Auto Show this weekend and they did the same thing, really cool!

I don't have any pics close up of my LED headlight installation but can explain. For all the exterior bulbs I just got LED replacements to fit OEM locations. However before that I used RadioShack white LED's with a resistor and made my own sockets. For the headlights, I simply soldered lead wires off of the LED, insulated them, cut a notch in the H4 bulb, and insterted the LED with the H4 bulb. I bent the anode + cathode to keep the LED away from the bulb. I tried a couple different ways, but they light up best when tucked into the lamp glove so it reflects outward. It looks sweet when it's "dim" or "dusk" out. Just post any questions, and zNucleaRz, I'll get some info on my headlights to you later today, I gotta get to class

Not meaning to hi-jack the thread but let’s see if I have this right. I guess you drilled a hole below the actual H4 bulb on that ring that runs around it and mounted a blue led bulb? Then wired it to something I was thinking about wiring mine to the parking lamps should be a good place. Is this right?
