i was watching cops last night, and saw a 91=92 firebird with a early 70's style hood on it, it was awsome and wanna know where 2 get one. anyone seen one before?

 

If you are refering to the Vette Bigblock style hood, I don't think they make that s tyle for birds anymore. Don't know who made it. Motion glass probably has something like that, just too bad they don't have an online catalog.

 

Anyone got a pic of this hood my buddy found an old vet hood and he cut it up and is going to hook it to a camaro hood.....just wanted to know if it was the same hood or not?

 

Sounds like an L88 hood... I don't think anyone makes a complete L88 hood for a Firebird, but you could get a base-model flat steel hood, and add a separate L88 scoop to it.

 

Sure he's not talking about the BANDIT cars? Those had the 70's look,.

 

i did some research , it was the l88 style hood, like i said it was Cops...so not much info ....lol

I think that he is talking about this hood. This one is for a camaro at JC Whitney. They did not have it for the bird.

 

if you look on the site they have the same hood for 3rd gen camaros also. he did say a 91-92 bird.

 

ok, never mind i was thinking about a different hood, but a friend of mine has that hood for his camaro too.....

 

man ive got a l88 hood on my 1970 vette and ever since ive had that car ive always wanted an l88 looking hood for my z. the ss hood is too played out, the big block hood is nice but i think the l88 hood blows them all away. does anyone have any pics of an l88 hood on one of our cars???

 

Looking for a pic of an L88 hood on a third gen as well. Anyone?

i forgot about this post.....some1 please get a pic for us. i cant seem to find one anywhere. but i have a 1970 vette with an l88 hood on in and if anyone could or would want to maybe i can snap a pic of it then get some1 to photoshop it onto my car...perhaps?

 

i dont have any pics but there was an old primered up 83z28 running around my town that had the factory fiberglass hood on it with a l88 hood scopp rivited onto it. it looks nice.

There is a guy running aroung Longmont Colorado with that hod on his 91 GTA. It really looks like ****. The scoop is WAY too tall for the car and it just looks too blocky. I think that Motion still has it for the Birds if you really want one.

the best looking hood ive seen is the ram air hood from cervinis. i just got it. it is the best made hood i ever seen , its finished inside and outram air and cowl induction, you gotta check it out. part# 114
