Progress Pics

Here are some progress pics of my 83 Z. Everything is going smoothly. Used to be plain jain a month or two ago. Not anymore Some new things I got done were full tuneup, grid taillights, 91-92 gfx, and 15% tint. I really like the tint. Its dark enough during the day and you can see fine at night. I also swapped the whole interior from my 84 into the 83. It looks a ton better than brown. I swapped the doors too and added power windows, locks and trunk release. I scored a new front 91-92 gfx of ebay for cheap! Have to give props to 82FirebirdTA for holding it for me I will be getting a 3 inch cowl soon and then get it painted black. So dont hate on my multi color car Any suggestions on a shade of black? I still need to sand the rear bumper cover since the paint is chipping. Im also going to be filling in the spoiler holes and shaving the antenna as well. Can I fiberglass those holes? Would it be better than body filler? here are some pics.

I have established that they are made by American Racing, but I do not know which model.

Very cool!

It's getting there, your interior came out good. The only I would do is change the front ground effects to 91-92 front end. By the way I have the same rims. Keep up the the good work!

The 84 Z I have is totaled I was in a wreck and someone rearended the crap out of me and the rear quarter panel caved in. The rims are 15's but im not sure of the width since they were on the car when I bought it. The tires are 265/50R/15's. I like em. They make the car look mean I also got a 85-90 Iroc nose in the shed. Im still working on it but it will be on the car soon.

That car is already very nice and it will be even better once you complete it. Keep up the good work. I like the tint.

They are American Racing model AR-26, discontinued in 1998. Hope this helps! (I have a set of my malibu for now, bought them new when they were on closeout...)

Looking good btw, a little more tweaking on the gfx alignment and you should be all set once you get the new nose on there and get it all painted up. Keep the pics coming!

They are a generic wheel. About 13 different companys made them. That is why so many people have different caps for them.
Your ride is lookin good, don't stop now.
