It all depends on the shop, the shops competition and the quality of the job you want done. I would say you're looking at a minimum of $600.
Chroming is not cheap.

Well, you didnt exactly say black was in... But, in defense of NEEDforSPEED, it did sound like you strongly suggested it.

Anyway, I think chrome is expensive. I remember this show I was watching a few months ago and they dipped parts into a pool of chrome. Is this how they do it?

Why not get them powdercoated a shiny aluminum kinda color? That would look almost exactly like chrome, but a fraction of the cost.

try to find a shop that does permachrome....it's relatively new type of powdercoating and it's unbelievable with the shine it reflects. edelbrock just started offering it as well as a few other wheel companies have been using it on billet wheels as their chrome option. it looks so close to chrome you can't tell and it doesn't have any of the side affects.

as far as chrome itself it typically is expensive. alot of the price has to do with the process used and the condition of the part in question. my stock 91 z28 wheels were extremely expensive to have high polished and tripple plated. it was worth it for the bling factor but it was costly.

I bought another set of 4 rims off ebay and had them done at Wheelconcepts.com for $475 including centercaps. I still kept my original rims incase I decide on polishing them later on because I want to keep the white accents. But check the net, the prices range from 125.00 per wheel to 220.00.

which is pretty cheap....depending on the quality i've seen them range 200-800 a wheel, you get what you pay for with it though.
