IROC rims and rear drum brakes, Need help

I just purchased a set of 88-90 16x8 silver IROC rims from hawks. They are for my RS which has rear iron drums. They are a complete set fronts and rears. I was looking through my repair manual and it said that IROC's with rear drums had a spacer on them, is this true? Can someone with an iron drum iroc or Z28 tell me if their rear wheels have spacers on them. THanks

I have those same rims on my Trans Am, which has rear drums on it. I'm not using any spacers on them.

The stock spacers were only about .187 thick. So don't worry about not having them. Most of them were lost over the years.
