1st appearance mod in a while (hood pic)...
I picked this hood up yesterday at the Etown swapmeet here in NJ. It's a Cervini cowl hood which I'm sure you know the nice part is I saved a good bit of $ picking it up there rather than having it shipped plus a discount. The hood fits pretty nice and is excellent quality except for one factory provided bolt that wouldn't come out other than that I'm real happy with the quality. This is just the first step to getting the car back to where I want it. I need a driver's door, new hinges, front ground effects, driver's side ground effects to be replaced and to throw on the correct year hatch glass I have waiting. Once that's done I hope to get the car reshot the same color sometime this year. I haven't posted in this section before but since I should be fairly active with the car's appearance this year I figured I'd share a few pics for anyone interested.

Thanks all!! I'm real happy with the hood it definitely gives the car a little more attitude. The lines flow perfectly with it Cervini did an excellent job IMO, I'd definitely recommend the hood to anyone looking to go aftermarket.

Did you catch the car show at the track?
That hood looks really good in person. I think I would like it better if there was a stock-like ridge in the middle of it though. Still one of the best looking cowl hoods IMO.

91Rskid...The wheels are 17" ROH Snypers with 275/40/17s all around. I forget what I paid for them I got the wheels from JDWheels.com and the tires are cheap Kumhos from the Tirerack.com that I wouldnt recommend getting despite how cheap the price is, you get what you pay for usually.

Everytime someone posts a pic of their Cervini's cowl I wish more and more I had gotten one.. I bought a Harwood and as I've stated several times it fits like crap.. You'll probably see me at etown sometime this year and you can see for yourself. Looks sweet

Whoa whoa whoa people...
My personl opinion is that if the SS cowl part overlapped the end of the hood it would be GREAT, but just staring at a flat, blank back side is just dumb.
Therefore, CERVINI ALL THE WAY!
Looks wise, I think the Cervini and SS hoods are the best Camaro hoods available. My biggest problem with the SS hood is that which was stated above, the complete flat end of the hood, no overlap, no style. I mean, yeah it looks cool when outside of the car, but when you're driving, dont you want something that is a little more inspiring than a flat peice of raised fiberglass??
