Is anything being done?
Does anyone know if there's anything being done to outlaw those blue headlights? Honestly, i have a hard time seeing when i have one of those guys behind me. I get blinded by them on a regular basis. There's no need for them other than looking "trendy" (yes i'm aware that some cars come with them stock). They're supposed to help you see better but that's why they but high beams on cars or whatever the hell they're called. Chances are that if you NEED them to see when you're driving, your vision is too bad for you to have a license.

Coming up behind me, is not the problem. It's meeting them that bothers me.
To answer your question, I'm sure they're not going to outlaw them if they're coming out on the new vehicles.
What would be nice is if only law enforcement were able to have them. That way, you could see them from a distance and "eeease" out of the gas a little sooner (HA!HA!).

After riding in a new Audi S4 with arc lights in it, Its a totally different story, Those lights just look like blue bulbs from your standpont, but from inside the car it it totally awesome. Its a perfectly stright line across you field of vision, Everything below that line is bright as day....You can even see the line move when you hit bumps....Its insane....

I positioned myself in my seat so that the mirrors weren't reflecting it into my eyes, then i went niiiiiiiice and slow. Finally he got into another lane and i noticed that it was a Mustang

I hope they don't get outlawed I like my blue lights makes it much easier to see at night, and they won't blind you if you don't stair into them. And if they were so bad every car in Europe and Japan and just about every other foreign country would not equip them standard on their cars.

I know i'm not the only person that has a hard time seeing when people like that are behind me. I don't speed up to prevent people in but i do slow down when some guy in an SUV has his high beams on. They're illegal to have on within i think 500ft of another car.

I just dont understand things though, here in Va. those are legal, But anything other then stock taillight, even if brighter, is illegal, Me and my brother put together have been pulled 6 times because of taillights. His were LED strips on his Mazda truck, And me it was 32 Ford lights on my bug...Makes no sense!!!
I did my senior project on illegal equipment laws arguing how stupid they were...Did you know its illegal to have an antenna ball in Va. ? And factory tint @ 35% is legal, but 35% non factory on side windows is illegal...Dont make sense!

If youve ever driven in a car that has HID's youll see how nice it is to see everything lit up at nite. Im not talking those h4 hyperwhite "like HID" things either, im talking true HID that come on mercedes benz, maximas, bmw caddys and other high end cars. its truly nice. and i can deal with lights in my rear view for a few seconds. same thing happens when a big 4x4 is behind me even without high beams on and standard halogens, they go right off my mirror and in my eyes. I like the HIDs and i wanna put them in the TA as soon as i fix the bouncing headlights.

If the cars behind you adjust your mirrors so the light isnt in your eyes.
If the cars infront of you dont stare at the headlights!
Its not that complicated!
And last time i checked almost every suv's lights blare into my mirrors when behind me,.I dont think they are gonna outlaw suv's any thime soon.
