Boyd Smoothie II Questions need help deciding

Hey everyone,

I can't decide I have been debating on like 3 Different wheels and I think I really like the Smoothie II's. But now I am in a size dilemma I am thinking of either 18x9 or 17x8/17x10. I like the idea of the 18x9 so I can rotate them and then I like the 17x8/17x10 for a more of an old school look. I saw the 18x9 on a fourth gen over at ls1tech and the look hot! And massive! I also can’t figure out what backspacing I will need I looked at that backspacing diagram but I haven’t had any time to take my wheels off to measure. Would it be something like 5.75 in the rear and 5.5 in the front with a 0mm offset? I want to keep the tire inside of the wheel well. Cause I know kandied is running 18x10 rear with 6.75 and I have a 1 inch smaller wheel so 5.75. would these numbers be right?

Here is a picture of them on a 4th gen.

18's with a decent sidewall should be just fine for daily driving....

Well the place I was going to order them from Discount Tire Direct does not offer them in the correct offsets/bs in 18x9 only 18x8, but they do offer the 17's to fit my car. But the rears have a 6mm offset and a 5.73BS will this still fit our cars? Also discount tire direct is the cheapest I have found so far. $960 for all 4 shipped
