Polished Plenum/TB w/black runners pics?
I am going to buy some aftermarket runners and really did not want to take the time to polish them. And was wondering what it would look like if I painted them black with my polished plenum and tb. I have searched but have not found what I was looking for. So if anyone has any pics of this I would really like to see them.

But I plan on painting them and not powdercoating bacuase I do not have enough knowledge or the right equipment to do so. Will powdercoating chip as easy as paint?

This is my buddies car. (Wishmaster)
I think the whole engine looks great, but I'm not real fond of the black runners. If you're engine looks as good as his, I'd say you can pull it off, but if not, well, it's up to you.
Why not spray them cast silver....or powdercoat them "almost chrome". It's not as cool as polished, but it still looks real good.
My plan is to powdercoat mine to look just like when they were brand new!!!

I think I like the overall look of that on wishmaster's car.
Do you guys think black runners would be easier to maintain then polished ones?
