I was looking at my car today and ive got 255/55R16's on it and the tires at the front are flush with the fender flares where as the back wheels are not they sit about an inch inside the fenders. Is that normal the back flares are a fair bit bigger then the front or is it possible that the previous owner put the front rims on the back and the back on the front?

 

The rims say front and back on them, check it out. If so... ROTATE!

 

Front's stick out further so if they were reversed they would be about even or the front would be inset.

I ran 4 Front offset wheels on my car so that the car had a nicer stance in the rear.
