Need Answer PLease............

As i said once before.....My 83 was hit in the quater panel on the drivers side. Shall i go to maaco and get the paint and body work done. its red for now i wan't the car black will they do a good job?? i'm pickey as heck about the quality of work done on the car. i want a paint job as good as the ones gm rolls out of the factory new. any help is greatly appreciated. thanx.

Well... I had a jeep done at Maco and it came out fine but all I wanted was a $300 paint job. I had my Camaro stripped to the metal, primed, painted and it cost me $5000 but Iwanted it done better than the factory.
All in all you get what you pay for.

If u want the paint job to look as good as when it came from the factory, I would look around 1st before going there. Every 1 of their paint jobs I have seen looks good from far away, but when u get up close there is marks and imperfections in the paint. Really, do some more asking before u make your decision.

Then your probably as fussy as me. In which case, don't go to macco. Save your money for a good paint-job. BTW, doing body-work yourself will save you a lot of money.
