actually thats not to far off... Not sure about the cats in your area.. But I found when I used the Eagle One Tire gel they didn't spray the tires at all.. I think it has a smell they don't like or something..

... or put some coolant out so the cat can fill back up on liquids after releasing all over your car.

Id suggest a cross bow to the head, just make sure you dont hit your tires. Either that or leave out a special treat for it. LOL

But If you dont wanna be cruel Id say find some other approach. Maybe a car cover?

I'm going to laugh if you suddenly find holes in your car from using BBs or arrows. If you go to a pet store, they actually make "car repelant" stuff. I would just spray some of it around your car. A dog might work to or a very, very big rat trap. But now to contact PETA...

A little cayenne pepper around your tires should do the trick.

I would not go so far as to waste food year round. get a car cover, cover it in something that the cat wont go near. Possibly something that doesnt offend you too bad but will drive the cat away. Spraying vinegar around your car doesnt seem to bright cuz who knows how long this cat is going to lurk around. Waste good vinegar every day on a dumb cat???

I would say leave some food out for it a few days when your car is covered. Let it gain your trust and then kill it. If its a stray cat then its better off dying at your hands then at some big dog tearing it apart or catching some disease.

This may sound mean but its prolly the only way unless the cat decides to leave. If you can you could always take it to the pound. But thats only if youve gained its trust so much itll let you pick it up....Then again some nice tasting cat food and water might do it.

another idea. Set up a trap. Your local pound might even let you use one. Put some good smelling cat food, and milk. cats love milk. make sure its properly lit so the cat can see it and leave it near your car someplace. If you can trap it you can bring it to the pound. Let us know how it goes.

When it runs and is away from the car, pull up the 12 guage, get a bead on him, BOOM. Unless he's like the dude to in Terminator 2, he's gone. Just make sure that he's away from the car, cause you should be able to hit him with a 12 guage

I think most people when they are home park their car in the same spot everyday as I do. Some cayenne pepper around where you park you car might to the trick. As long as it does not rain it should last several days.

Go ahead and murder innocent cats, just don't curse the world when your car decides to find a tree a high speed.

Unless they are terrorist al quada cats, then disregard this post keep shooting and show them who is truely evil.

if you own a .22 rifle go out and buy some subsonic ammuntion for it and sit outside in a chair very still. when the cat comes by startle it so that it goes away from your car then take a couple shots at it without the posibility of hitting your car...noone will hear the shots and the cat problem will disapear

REAL FIX TO CAT PROBLEM

My first solution to this problem was a "Catch 'Em Alive" trap that I bought at a feed store. Bait the trap with Sardines and wait. Kitty will get in and can't get out.

I used this for a while but decided that sooner or later the ASPCA or one of my neighbors would become upset because FI FI came up missing.

I found a better solution. For the past two years I have been using an ULTRASONIC PEST REPELLANT. To remedy this problem. The unit has is battery powered and has a motion detector and a selector dial. You dial in what you are trying to repel and when motion is detected it emits the appropriate frequency. When set to cats my Labrador Retriever cannot hear it but to the cat the 110db high pitched squeal is more than it can stand... It works GREAT there have NEVER been any cat footprints on my car when parked in proximity to the repellant. When I get home I'll try to find the info I have on it.

In all reality that is your best option. Or Ammonia or rubbing alcohol. (Yet the fumes from those might harm your paint if you get it to close, I think). Go with Vinegar, if that doenst work up the ante to rubbing alcohol, and then finally use ammonia.

They hate the smell and after a few weeks of doing it they will leave your car alone.

But, I personally hate cats. So I am big fan of just letting it gain your trust and killing it.

I am surprised no one said rat poison yet. That was one of the ideas I was given when I had the same cat doing its business in my driveway. First time it was funny, but then ~15 **** piles in a course of 10 days became really annoying.

Went to the local pet store and they have just the thing for these cases. It looks like pink powder and it has that ammonia/vinegar nasty smell to it (not too strong). The box was $6 and says it works for up to 4 weeks. I used it once and half a year later still no problems.

Cat Repeller -

Here is a link to the site for the Cat Repellant have been using to keep the cats off my cars... It has a motion detector and a high pitched sound emitter. When motion is detected the unit emits a 110db sound in the 20KHz range. This is beyond the abiity for a human to hear. My Labrador Retriever cannot hear it but a cat sure can! I haven't had any cat footprints since buying this. It works GREAT.

Like most of you who have posted. I really do HATE CATS! This animosity was, I'm sure, born of frustration at the little footprints all over a freshly washed car. Since getting the repeller and eleminating the problem I don't seem to hate them quite as much...

i have cats walk on my car all the time and scrach the **** up bad because they can't get traction on the clean paint... so i put the car cover on all the time, it is a pain, but is better than whaching the $3000.00 paint job getting fuged up.

I just happen to be a member of PETA. As a representative of for our cause, we understand the nuisance that pets tend to cause and would have no qualms with these actions.

Honestly though, a bowl of antifreeze... unethical, but effective. Also, such weapons as crossbows, handguns, rifles, even BB guns are just cruel.

Now what you want to use is a blow gun. You get an opprotunity to hone your skills on a live target, and the target may survive to learn its lesson.
