Something else I would like to bring up about the car, notice the radiator overflow tank, he custom mounted it somewhere in the nose or fender of the car, you see the line going out of the cap, but the overflow tank is nowhere to be found....

And the metal bar going accross the front of the car near the latch? Something to do with the inverted hood?

keeps the hinges from twisting away from each other and ruining the hood

do you guys really like that color.........there are more pinks, browns and teal tints in that color then anything else. there are much sharper versions of that paint effect i think. beautiful car but the color looks like someone got sick...not very pretty.

That picture was taken in St. Louis, however they were sent to me by another member on another board...

Kandied: The person who sent them to me, posted them on camaroz28.com

If anyone sees this guy at the last of the power tour stops, ask him about his hinges....

Lol...if you think that is the nicest car you have ever seen,
you need to get out more buddy

The only thing that I like about it is the engine....
Is there something that I am missing here?

The rest of the car......:lala:

The attention to detail, and the paint itself is worth a notice, granted everybody is gonna have their own opinions on the paint job, but I for one think it's sweet

Yes, I have seen the car before.
Yes, it is a very clean specimen.
I guess it just looks too guady for me...the paint..the rims..the grill....

But again...beauty is in the eye of the beholder...hehe

Not a fan of the wheels either....

Your car however is the opposite end of the spectrum, a clean car that has a few subtle mods that go a long way in making the car look nice......

If you read what I have written, I am not bashing
on the car. I have stated my own opinion.

Go get a hug or sumthing and relax.

i figured someone would have looked but for the lazy...

http://www.phrtv.com/featuredcars/219805setcar.asp

here's the guys email for extremely lazy.....

bowler@wworld.com

a few of you guys need to calm down, no one has said the car is terrible that i've noticed.......everyone is entitled to their own opinion. just like what i said, i think the paint is fascinating i just think that not one of the colors in that particular version of chromillusion is as nice as some of the other custom cars out there. the ideas behind the car and the clean take the owner put on it makes it a very beautiful car to me but had they picked a better color it would really stand out. even when it aired both of the hosts commented on how they didn't care for the color but loved its changing properties, cam and dean even stated it may not be our thing but it's what's going on! which is true and it was...

i spoke with the owner about it after it aired on phrtv and he even told me they were building a show car so they went with what they could to make it stand out and it does it effortlessly. i also believe the motor was estimated to be around 500 somewhere but the motor combo/specs and boost that was running sounds like it's up around 430 at the wheels although i'm sure it has some good torque.

FLYNLOW any idea what section over at cz28 you saw this at? was it in the regionals? if mark bowler still owns it, he was trying to sell it, email him and i'm sure he'll help you figure out the hood ordeal. he was very friendly when him and i emailed back and fourth.

Pretty car! The paint sure is eye catching! Engine compartment looks awesome, except for one thing................. the brake fluid resivoir. Kinda sticks out like a big, plastic sore thumb. Doesn't anyone make a billet / chrome unit for our cars??

i am with tommy on that one. The engine rules, but the paint/grille and the wheeldesign...not my taste. And i almost forgot the thing i hate the most: The tires are too wide for the rims.
