Do a quick search. You will find a lot of stuff.

I dont know to what extent you are doing this, but I would suggest not doing it yourself if you are trying to match colors. Leave it to the pros. In this aspect, it is easier to paint an entire car your first time then just panels.

But... If you are like me you will keep on trucking so.

You will need:

-Paint Reducer
-Flex Additive (this is debated)
-Degreasing formula
-Terry cloths
-Clearcoat (if you choose a 2 stage paint, I dont reccomend for your first time)
-A hardener (especially if you are painting in your garage
-Primer, try to find a sealing primer if possible, this will help seal the metal which will protect it from rust.

But I am still a novice, so hopefully one of the veterans will offer his 2 cents as well.

You can buy paint online from several sources, but nearly every town has at least one auto paint and body supply store. I'd recommend looking one up, and go in and talk to them. They'll steer you in the right direction. Its hard to say specifically what you'll need, as it varies per manufacturer, and by grade of paint. In other words, what works with PPG will probably be different than Akzo-Nobel or DuPont.

Yes. Once you choose a company stick with it. Don't paint a car in PPG primer and then use HOK paint.

Once you find a brand, stick with it.
