I was looking around, and I seen these tailights, and I hadn't seen any on here before, and I was wondering if anyone had used them?

i think it would look good if the edges of the piece were molded to the area around it.

there is a very noticable gap between the piece and the body around it though. with the stock taillight piece, the gap looks fine because the taillight assembly actually looks like a taillight assembly.

these new taillights are made to look like the car body, so it looks like crap with a gap there.

not sure if i'm making sense, it's kinda hard to explain, but i think it would look much more like it's a stock piece if it were molded to the area around it

it would be kind of hard for them to mold into the body with the 3 piece spoiler that frames the taillight area. i've actually seen pictures of another car where it had the 91/92 z28 high rise, and the taillight panel was actually bondoed onto the car, but that's a little too permanent for my tastes. i never know when i'm gonna get sick of it.

I like the idea. But Id like to see a cut off rear bumper where it goes flat down without a curve

now, for that to look nice, you gotta get rid of the 3-piece spoiler, shave down that bumper (i did a photoshop a looong time ago, if i get a spare bumper cover its getting done). oh, and mold it in with the bumper. yeah, it would look a lot like a vette rear, but aint that the idea?

i think it would look alright with the 91-92 spoiler. but the lower spoilers like the one in the pictures just look silly with those lights. is there a crank on the front of those cars to match?

Prolly the same reason YOU don't own a corvette.

Additionally, I don't think it looks that bad - I've seen much worse. I also see the references to the Vette (4 round lights, etc), but I don't think the results look anything like a Vette (back is too square compared to the curves of a Vette).

Just my $.02.
