theres no catch .. the guy just needs room.and i got lucky for the first time ever.. the car has hedders and custom exahust that sounds good. the carb secondarys dont open the linkage is missing but i have to fix that.. other than that i runs grate. the best part is the dash is in mint condition. but the car has sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Congrats on the car.
I have an 84 - hardtop Z28. Most everything is there, I just have to assemble it. I paid 400 CDN, so about 290US for it. I don't have any really good pictures right now, my brother inlaw is renovating a house he just bought so my digital camera is used up there.

Shes pretty much gutted now, time to put it all together. Its kind of like your interior, once I cleaned out all the spare parts and good parts I discovered the dash was mint, and the dashpad had no cracks, and the PRO code sheet was still inside the console. Mines a pretty bare bones Z28, the only option it seems to have is the clock in the console (so ugly) and an auto (damn) and full guages(I assume this is standard on Z28's).

Oh yeah, just so you know I have all the GFX and the spoiler, there just not on the car. And the hood from 84 looked like swiss cheese, so I left it there.

nobody can beat what i got my car for....FREE! yea the guy who had it wanted to get rid of it because his son blew out the bottom end. it went from the guys house to the engine shop. the owner said that it would be 1500 to rebuild the engine but it was 1900 instead so the guy gave me a check for 500$ to help pay for it. so basiclly i got the car with 500$ for nothin. then i sold my 84z28 project for 1000$
