what if you dont want to remove the factory clearcoat and such off the rims..what can you do to try to improve the looks of them then?? i read the whole "polishing your rims" thing but it always deals with removing the factory clear

 

hum...I wonder also...Can you wet sand them like you would a car?

 

nope....sand, polish and reclear them. one of the downsides to clear, eventually it will come off. try powdercoating them clear.

 

You can clean them that is about it....if you go for the polish and you're gonna re-clear check this stuff out.
