Its a superram, I will be using bigger injectorn, probably P/H and upgrade to 749 with $58 or $60, the FMU is going to be removed later....

Oh Superram, sorry I get confused sometimes. Good idea on going with the 749 swap. FMU will get the job done, but the 749 is capable of much better tuning. Hope I can get my 749 swap started soon ...

GM ECM box 1227749 from GMC Typhoon/syclone and some Pontiac sunbirds I think.....

The have two injector drivers so that you can run P/H injectors if you swap them.

My guess is he will be running an intercooler (since its already curved down instead of across), and the air intake filter will end up sitting above the drivers side valve cover like it does in my car.

Today it passed emission test!:lala:

Look at my homepage and you'll fins alot of photos of the engine and supercharger mounting.

I dont think my current blower will be able to produce more than max 6psi but my plans are going up to 12-15 psi but I dont have the cash yet.....

And YES, a SuperRam is emissions legal in all 50 states. That's why I chose it over the Holley Stealth Ram (which is not) on my 383.

Sorry guys, but I'd rather save about $600 and go with the HSR, which I did of course. Then again, I don't go anywhere to get my car checked for emissions either. Either way, I don't think you'll be hurtin for power on that thing. Engine bay looks immaculate. What kind of times you lookin for?

THX guys!

I did some more cleaning up in the engine bay yesterday, cant tune the thing - its raining

The procharger has a nice "screaming" sound to it, not to much not to little.....

In the future I'll maybe go for another intake, thinking of RPM intake with injection or maybe the HSR, but I dont plan to rev past 6k..... If this goes down it wont happend until this winter...

I'll see if I can throw up some soundclips later.....

Times: No comment... If I get traction I think my rear end goes to the grave, and I dont have the $$$ for a Ford 9" or a 12bolt right now, I must have $$ for gas, its like 4.8 $ /gallon over here.....

I think my favorite part of that whole setup is that you still have A/C. Awesome work.

What are the advantages of running P/H injectors? What is the difference between the stock ones and the P/H ones?

Yes, thats Edelbrock Elite Series...

p/h - injectors are much quicker (open/close). They can handle BPW below 1.0mSec and when you need big injectors to handle the HP the pulse width at idle usually becomes a problem......

And there is a alot more sizes to choose between in the 60-100lbs area.

Next thing is AFR210cc and a 4L80E when I have the money and time.....

Yes, The SR was a killer intake on the 383" but after putting it on the 415" (PITA install ) I said that next time I remove the intake a HSR should be installed instead and with the xtra cubes I could afford to loose some torque... And the HSR is sooo easy to work with.......

I've never seen welds on the intake like that before. Was there a problem with the HSR, or it just didn't seal well?

Maybe a stupid question but i have to ask.I know header wrap keeps the engine bay temperatures down but in doing so won't it hold the heat in the header ,and with a supercharger isn't the idea to get rid of as much heat as possible at least with a roots type blower i think it is.So won't it hold heat near the exhaust port and be more prone to detonation.Maybe i have it all wrong.

Movie clip are now working in the F1 and exhaust section...

I've never seen welds on the intake like that before.
My intake ports on the heads where 1206 and the HSR only allows 1205, so to be able to portmatch the intake to 1206 I had to add some material....

That header wrap is gonna kill those headers is real short order, too.....
I have stainless SLP headers, or what do you mean?

Where can you get those edlebrock valve covers without the logo?
I ordered from jegs but I'm sure summit also have them...

Maybe a stupid question but i have to ask
Have no good answer to that, will investigate.........
