My '91 RS is white right now but it's 3 shades of white. It needs paint bad. I want to re paint it, but I've gotten to liking the white paint and I was planning on putting black anniversary stripes on the hood. Now I'm kinda thinking about painting it black. When I was looking for the Camaro I was looking for a black one, but the white one was a great deal. I love black, but the white has grown on me. Dunno what to do. Any opinions. As far as body mods, if it matters...I'm probably going to shave the door handles and emblems, put a high rise z28 spoiler on and a 2 1/2" cowl hood. The windows will be tinted probably with 5% tint. If it does go black, it will be a quality job, the white will mostly be taken off as much as possible before any primer/paint is laid down.

I deff agree, go with Black. Black is just awsome. But if you dont like to clean your car all the time then stick wit white

 

I dont mind the cleaning at all. The car probably wont get that dirty. Its going to stay under a cover most of the time. I'll be driving my other car in any bad weather or cold. Starting on the first cold day of fall the Camaro is only going to be a nice sunny day not a cloud in the sky kinda car.

black really is a mean looking color. Hell my trans am I had was black and I want to paint my olds black. Its really up to you. Not us.

IMO black is the best looking color that can be on a car, but it's the most work to keep it looking that way.
My Talon doesn't look really clean for more than half a day, whether indoors or out. Natural dust and dirt just shows up on it so easy.
That being said, I wouldn't go with any other color. My IROC will be black as well in a few years. That's how much I love it.

i think that the white with black stripes would be sweet..

although it depends how thick you are thinking about doin the stirpes and what kind of stripes are as well as what colour of black you would be using (as well as the white..pearl,metallic etc)

get some photoshoped pics of what you want done..and decide..if you are still undecided...post them here and get opinions

Anyone got some pics of their black cars? Not cars that have the IROC decals on the side. I would prefer 91-92 Z28s or similar. With nothing messing up the side.
