I'm thinking about converting my 1986 Trans Am Body into a 1991-1992 GTA Body with a RAII Hood and 4th Gen Spoiler, The inspiration on this thought is this picture right here, but I'd like to see more angles of this idea, if any of you have pics that could help me please post them, preferably black but any will help.

Also if any of you are selling 91-92 body parts please pm me.

I was going to do that with my 86 trans am I used to have, but never got the body parts. the car got tottaled later and I just went and bought a 91 firebird now I just need the hood lol

 

you'll also need the 91-92 gta tailights. good luck findin a set. i got a passengerside for $175 and stil tryin to find a driver side.

I've got the 91-92 gfx from the rockers to the back. Don't have the front end pieces anymore.
I have a total of 7 pieces.

Personally I would not convert your 85-90 style to 91-92 because I think 85-90 looks more edgy and cooler where as 91-92 has some odd curves to it. If you do convert, what are you going to do with your bumpers and gfx?

 

Actualy yes here they are from the first day I uploaded them, I never did add the GFX and I think I like it without them now actualy not many firebirds in 91 were made without them and having a 5 speed. https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=225964 I'll post up a new one of it tomorrow I just added the new spoiler off of a firebird 500.

 

well if i can find a 91-92 front bumper soon the one i got on my car is going to my gf, as for the rest of the gfx and the rear bumper it would be up for sale

 

I don't have any Camaro parts, but I have almost anything for a firebird.

I already traded that hood with a friend for his GTA wheels.

do you like that better than the stock aerowing ?

 

I like the aerowing more but I can't find a good original thats not cracked to hell and I can't afford to buy a new fiberglass one, this is a good wing that was 13 bucks lol and its a rare wing. Oh and its light as hell even lighter than the stock firebird wing.
