First Gen Emblem

This may not be everyone's 'cup of tea' but I've always been a fan of the first gen emblems. Let me know what you think of my little addition (good or bad ) I know it's a fender emblem.. but I thought that it should say Camaro some place other than the passenger dash..it can easily be removed if I get tired of it.

Nice and shinny but i think it would look better on the front fender.

I'm with flynflow, I like the emblem but I think it needs to be moved down so you can see it from the back when your driving.. on the oposite side of where it says RS...

It's hard to show with the pictures but the lower part of the bumper actually is angled down. so it would've been pretty hard to read letters with that much relief. the RS is flat and can be read easier, but since the emblem is about 1/2 cm thick it wouldn't look right i don't think. I'll try and get a shot of what it would look like down there though

i like it but not on the back. i think it would look great on the front fenders. also replace the inside dash camaro emblem with the same type of emblem

That emblem looks 'dated' on a 3rdgen. And for good reason.

It would be the only style element on the car that had any curves to it really. It looks hopelessly out of place.

I like those emblems. Nice chrome finish. But not on the back of the car. You guys think it would look good on the quarter panel right behind the front wheels? I don't know really. But it seems now that I saw it on the car, I would find a place that best fits that, nice work

cool emblem, bad placement.

I would recommend "if you can still remove i" To move it right across fromt he RS badging over the vein on the bumper where the "tuned port injectoion" badges are.

that would look good.

I agree with most everyone else. Nice emblem, not real big on the placement.

....I've kicked around several place to do that style emblem, but never found a place I liked.

I think it would be cool if you could merge the RS and the camaro emb. like have the Camaro emb. on top of the RS though it might not do justice to the camaro emb.

ooooh, I like THAT idea....lemme dig out the Adobe Illustrator...

...not sure how you'd do it though, but heck, if it was easy, everyone would do it!
