Okay, I just painted the inserts of my 90 IROC rims, then I took some polishing rouge compound and my dremel and polished the non-painted sections. I then took some Eagle One (same as Mothers) aluminum polish to finish them off. Do I need to wipe the rims down with something before I clearcoat them? If so (I imagine I do) what should I wipe them with? p.s. the shiney parts are almost to a mirror/chrome finish, aluminum is some wonderful stuff.
