It's the bolt on hood. I can't really say that they have made many of these hoods since they never even took pictures of this type of hood. Maybe I just got the first ever that was a junk mold lol

Good point about the production. I actually might be getting a Bird soon, so the L88 hood wouldn't work without some fairly major modification anyway. I'll probably end up going with the cowl hood, it is my fave anyway

I think I'll try to have a Bird p'shopped with the L88 hood, to see if it'd be worth the time and trouble...

Edit: Damn, I can't find any decent sized pics of the L88 from the same angle as the one pic I have of my old Firebird. Anyone have a decent size pic, from this angle, of the L88??

That's alright My pic isn't the sharpest either

I'll try making a shop tonite, and if I can't, than I'll post those two pics in Photoshop forum to get done.

To tell you the truth, I don't think it'll look right on a bird.

I think a retro shaker from 2nd gen trans am would be awesome on it.

Yea, I've seen a couple 3G Shaker's on here, looks real good too. I'll most likely end up going with either shaker or cowl induction - and I'd say cowl is in the lead over shaker. My plans include TT in a year or two, if not more, and shaker wouldn't really work with that.

^ I've seen that one too. IMO it looks alright on Camaro's, but I don't think it would look so hot on a Bird.
