She's gettin' there. That's her younger sister, the 95 Formula, she's sitting with.

Edit- had to drastically lower the quality of the JPG or it wouldn't attach because of filesize, sorry. I have high-res pics if anyone wants them.

I used Dupli-color Cherry Red, and no clear, it was an acrylic enamel. I'm working on the interior now since it's all taken apart.

I'm fairly happy for the way it turned out, the way I rushed everything and "half-assed" it. It basically looks like a decent Maaco job without all the overspray, hehe.

Some retarded amount, probably 25-30. It would've been cheaper for a low-end Maaco job honestly. But then again they overspray everywhere. Take some leave some.

The last time most of you guys saw my car, it looked like this : https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...light=progress

Yeah, we had my buddy's Protege painted there, and they did do a halfway decent job (we removed/masked everything ourselves and did all the prep work). But they did paint all over the radiator and fan. :: sigh :: Some things you don't think you need to mask...

Now all I need is a spoiler... if anyone knows where I can get a wraparound spoiler for free or cheap, in halfway decent condition, please let me know! Was gonna go with fourth-gen replica spoiler but I don't have $350 to spend on it right now. The 91-92 style would be cool, or the previous one.

For a rattle can job, that looks really really good. ALOT better than primer or multi color, thats for sure.

If you scuff sand it down later, it could make a good base for a paint job. Not as it is now though, it's actually fairly glossy.

Thanks for all the compliments, guys... it feels good to have her reassembled and one color again!

Gladstone, no, I did not wetsand or anything, though we did do some buffing. I wish I had used more coats though, the places where I did more coats you can really tell. You have to make sure you spray as evenly as possible too. I'll get on to sending you higher res pics later on.

lol, the entire car was super dirty when the pic was taken, though you might not be able to tell. I haven't washed it for a few days, but I was so excited to have the 91 back together and I just had to get pics with her younger sis.

Wow... I was going to get the replica spoiler, because you have to modify the true 4th-gen spoilers to get them to fit, but dang, for a bid of $19.99 you can't beat that.... what all do you have to do? Something about extending the posts? I might just try and get that.

As for the high-res pics, I've been having trouble getting large files to send through e-mail, do you guys have AIM? I could send through that.

Can you paint my car
Sure

Thats what I'm saying. The one I bought started at 20 bucks too, and after I fought for it, it ended up being 100, which still isnt bad. Yeah, you have to extend the center posts, and I've also heard you have to find some way to attach the "arms", but I dont think it could be that hard to do!

My aim is Orinackra...I'm sure I'll be on later this evening after work.

Pretty good job for a spray can. I think I'll get used to using a spray gun. I just can't stand the constant shaking and invariablity and inconsistencies. Lol the noise is annoying too. I could never get as good of job with spray cans as that.
