Need help figuring out what *needs* painting
Need help figuring out what *needs* painting
So here's the deal:
Old car been sitting under a tree for a few years. Now, there is certain paint damage on the front bumper, as well as the rear spoiler where my brother accidentally used *steel wool* ::yikes:: to try to scrub it clean, not knowing he'd take off the paint! But the rest of the paint on the car is of uncertain quality. The sides seem ok. The top has a CRAPLOAD of treesap and gunk; it's pretty much gray (car used to be white).
So I'm wondering, what do I use (claybar, whatever) to clean off all the gunk and see what parts are really beyond repair?
Thanks,
Ambert
