does that self-drying zip wax work?

I was looking at my local auto parts store the other day and noticed they had self-drying zip wax. It is made by turtle wax. Does this stuff really dry itself?

I've heard the self-drying and/or spray waxes are okay for cleaning properties. However, protection and shine come with elbow-grease, rags, and time. I'd stick with McGuires, Mothers, or Zaino as far as waxes and polishes. The only spray I use are the quick detailing sprays.
