I don't see the deal... unknown 350 bored 60 over with a carb on it? And that engine... I am not even sure how the Serp belt is staying on, plus the air pump installed without a pulley on it.

Just the miles were so low... In hindsight maybe not a great deal...

Hmm Carfax showed it had 111K in 1995...also an accident in Michigan in 1991 with light damage. And it received a "not actual mileage" branded title way back in 1991 as well. I think this one's had a hard life. Pass.

Re: 91 Base Formula 22K miles $5500

111K miles in 4 years! wow, someone really drove the crap out of it, that is more than 27,000 miles a year. Seeing that it was in MI at one time, and now in IN, I wonder if that is a typo, I would like to see the report. to Drive an F-body 25,000 miles a year in Michigan, where you really have 3 or 4 months a year that you cannot drive a car like that very well... Not saying it is impossible...

If you take harshest winter months out of the equation, and state that they drove it 10 months, that is 2700 miles a month, or 90 miles a day, which I guess if you drove 45 miles one way to work, and you worked every day, it would not be too hard...

Re: 91 Base Formula 22K miles $5500

That is what I do in KC. Granted our winters are not as harsh, I park mine 3-4+ months a year. I don't drive it in the rain but do at all other times.
I drive my Firebird 3 days a week at 95 miles round trip plus in town driving. I have put on 20K in 1 1/2 years.

I just did a 600+ mile round trip (Including a drive down my favorite 2 lane loaded with curves). But hey, I bought it as a driver. It will be one as long as I own it.

Re: 91 Base Formula 22K miles $5500

I think one of the biggest mistakes made on the Firebird from 1986-1992 is the Odometer. They included the tenths, I know for a fact that one of my cars was misreported twice because of that stupid last digit. They should have only gone with the miles for the Odometer and use the tenths for the trip Odometer. If you do not have a trip odometer I can see the usefulness of the tenths, but other than that what would be the point?
