The single most frustrating experience of my life lol. Easily 100 hours into this. I added 91-92 ground effects and the tall wing. My car never had ground effects so mounting them was a PITA. I started laying the primer down and the remnants of hurricane frances moved in and it didn't stop raining for over 24 hours. So, I had to build a damn tent over my driveway where I was painting all the stuff not attached to the car but a few drops still managed to get onto the clearcoat on the plastic stuff, hopefully they'll wet sand out. On my third coat of clear bugs started landing on it and I said F it and stopped at three. It looks pretty good for my first paint job. I thought the color would have a bit more orange in it but I still like it and it's getting a lot of looks. Color's called burnished copper poly.

I don't know how you feel about black wheels, but I think those wheels painted black would go great with that color.

that's funny, those are stock vette rims. The car looks awesome and that paint is pretty unique, but if you are going to run spacers you should get some better rims. Jmo

damn dude that looks awesome! great job! i thought the first pic you showed was the new job and i was like errr you didnt shave anything lol.

i think if you painted the recessed parts of the rim black then it would look really good. all black would look funny to me.

chrome emblems and clear side markers would really set it off as well. if you painted the orange part of the tail light red so you only had red and white tail lenses that would help too. otherwise polish what you got.

 

Thanks guys. Yeah, the tails were tinted with VHT, the light comes through fine at night but during the day it could probably be a little brighter, I need to look at getting brighter bulbs. I didn't really want to use adapters for the wheels but I got a fourth gen that I got my T56 from so while I was at it I pulled the rear end from it too so I had to get adapters for the front.

looks nice good job. i like the color its diffrent so that is good. i would of maybe done a diffrent color gfx to see how it would look. not sure whjat color though what do you all think? white silver?
