So i totaled the iroc...
Well i was leaving my cousins wedding reception and was taking my friend home when i decided to do a burn out...right into a cement wall. The insurance company totaled it out so i went on a shopping spree. Got my car fixed and painted with 91-92 high rise spoiler, SS hood was fixed, bought some 17 x 9 ROH snypers, eibach sportlines and a 96 s10 lol. Ill have some pics up real soon. Dang i wish this would happen more often, the insurance company treated me good
Anyways, i need to know if anybody has run 275/40/17s all the way around with lowering springs and without any problems. Ill prolly go with the kumhos ecsta 712s, but i just wanted to make sure these will fit before i buy them.

I am currently running 4th gen off set 17x9.5 TT2's with Skulte adapters up front & 4th gen rear. I really don't have any problems but would probably go with a 17x8 up front if I did it over again.
TA#5, what's TT2's? Is that 2"? What backspace do your rims have?
I was thinking of going with 17x9's all the way around. That way if all wheels are the same, you'd be able to move them around easier if you ever had to. My bro-in-law swapped his rear 245's for 225's to match the fronts on his 330ci just for that reason.
Why do you say you'd rather go with 17x8 up front?

TT2's are American Racing Torq Thrust 2's.
The backspacing is the same as on a 4th gen f-body--7" if I remember correctly.
I agree on being able to rotate the wheels easily if they are all the same size but I probably average 6,000 miles on my car and they would last me 5 years provided the fronts don't wear to badly and of course the backs
17x8 would tuck under the fender a little better as the 17x9.5 seem to stick out about 1/2 inch and it looks odd looking down the body lines of the car.
