So I got bored

Well, it was a nice monday morning here and I decided to change some things. First to change was the radio that doesnt work. Soluton? pull it out and make a glove box. I am in the process of making the box and its comming along good. Second thing to take care of was the stock air intake. I didnt like my old rusted top that said Fuel Injection. I took an old computer case and cut out a template. After sanding it I made the bowtie by freehand (not bad, huh). I think I got atleast 25+ HP from the logo alone . On a more serious note, I think the throttle responce seems a bit better.

that poor iroc.............

spend 15 00 and get a chrome cheapy air cleaner would not look so crappy, well maybe it would still look like crap.

next time your board take a can of spray cleaner to it it would be time better spent, then next time rattle can the engine bay and that would make a huge diffrence. black on parts that should be black silver on parts that should be silver ect. slowly but surely you have a nice ride.

honesty is the best policy....

Good idea and resourcefulness. Although I think the rest of the engine bay needs a good cleaning like others have stated.
