yea i got it. that is one of the greatest birds ive seen. they did everything right to it.

IIRC the guy who owns Hawks is named Bruce Hawkins, Is this one of his rides?? Did they list any times or anything for that baby?

Yep, it's Bruce's car. The magazine said he went 12.70 at 110 mph in the 1/4 mile with the just the LS1 and minimal tuning. It also said now with the Magnacharger he went 7.32 at 100 mph in the 1/8 mile, at the time of print.

I actually saw the car once when I was at Hawks but I didn't even give it a second glance at the time .

so where can i find this magazine on the net?? cuz nowhere around here has pontiac high performance, just chevy high performance.....this is the first time ive even herd of a all pontiac magazine

yea but at least Bruce put it in a thirdgen instead of keeping it in a forth gen. so its still showing off a nice 3rd gen bird which is still sweet.

No, implies respect, speed and credibility because it has a lot of horsepower. 4th gen motors in 3rd gens are not exactly new. Blowers on 3rd gens aren't new either.

Both? Well, that's going the extra mile to me, and probably worth a peek. I just can't find HPP anywhere.

The article was good reading however the "1LE Rear End" kinda
threw me off.

No offense to anyone that likes them, but IMO they dont look right on anything except a 4th gen Trans Am (not even the 4th gen formies look right with it IMO).
