is it just me or are is your steering wheel on the wrong side? that was confusing.

anyways, about that hood...it looks dam mean, a little to excessive for my tastes. i like the good ol' ASCD "SS" style hood. im gettin that sometime next yr. it also looked as if your hoods paint was brighter then the rest of your car. but then again, that coulda just been the editing?

looks nice!

Honestly, man, I think it looks way out of place. I'd go with the standard Camaro/Chevy hoods. Those compliment that car's lines much better than a Pontiac hood, a 4th genner hood at that. The again, beauty lies in the beholder is what they say
P.S. Check out the previous subject in the appearance board "ideas for paint job" or something like that. There's a schweet z28 with a cowl induction hood with stripes.

I think there is a fine line when it comes to 4th gen parts on the 3rd gen... some look great while others just dont belong. If I were to see that hood on the street, it would definatly catch my eye, only because it looks so out of place. But its not my car, its yours. Dont focus too much on everyone's opinion and do what you think looks good for you.

I'd have to say that it doesn't look so lovely. Putting a 4th gen Firebird ram air hood on a third gen Camaro just doesn't seem right...

So.......what if they originally put those hoods on Camaro's? Should that even make a difference? I'm not flaming anyone here, but I just don't see why it should matter what the style of the hood was taken from....

I don't see too many people complaining about ZR-1 wheels on 3rd gen's or Vette rims....and many of you seem to agree that the Vette Tail lights look nice on the rear of a third gen if done well. I haven't heard anyone say that a 4th gen interior in a 3rd gen would look ugly, even though it really "wouldn't match"....

I say base it on how it looks on the car to you, don't base it on what what some engineer felt like putting it on years ago.

Just my 2 cents....

It doesn't match at all... just don't fit the car. I don't think it matters, those hoods are made for round cars, while 3rd gens are more square.
I don't care who they put it on, I wanna put a ASCD SS hood on my Firebird, and being I have one I can figure out how it would look. It is personal taste, I think people are stating it is weird because it is off a 4th gen, but they really are just looking for the words of why it doesn't fit.... not to be putting words in people mouths.
Just my .02, don't do it, man....
