I have a super duty hood which is an ss with a 4 inch cowl.

also...(no offence)...but the back of the cowl should be cut out

I didn't cut the back of mine out because the hood is open up front...closed in the back...and the underhood temps drop dramatically......plus...the SS hood is modeled after the 1996 SS Hood...which is not cutout in the back...

I'm cutting out the hole along the back of the cowl and I'm puting in some mesh grill.

Have any pics with that hood from the inside? Still have pretty good visibility? I'm 6'3'' so I dont think its going to block my vision too much but 4" sounds like a lot.

How come that ss hood for the birds look bigger (or is bigger) than ss hood for the camaros?

it has a 4 inch cowl and ss hoohds have a 2 inch.I just ordered an ss grill for it today.I'm puting a mesh grill in the back.I'm only 5'8" and I can see just fine.

Sweet. I def. need a new hood and now REALLY considering that one. I dont like the RA2's. I think it clashes with our 80s, hard lines styling.
