anyone make these tail lights really shine?
im going to replace my tail lights and i was looking for the grid trans am ones but there are none around here but i can find alot of this kind and what i want to know is if anyone has these tail lights and polished them up because it seems to look difficult to get down in the lines. thanx in advance.

yes i know how to polish them (ive already read that article) but i want to know if anyone has the tail lights i metioned polished.

In the pic. it shows 82-85 Base Firebird lights. The only way to polish them is lots of elbow grease.
All the regular polishing techniques work, but its a PITA due to the louverd design.
Ive polished my 84 T/A lights. (Light sanding + compound). And they look good. But it is alot of work. And the results arent that spectacular, you wont get that smooth mirror finish you get w/ the smoother (later style) lights.

ttt. someone has to have done it right? and if not maybe ill add a part to the sticky on how to polish this kind of tail light.
