I've had these installed for quit sometime now...just haven't taken any pictures of them yet. Plus, I've only driven it once at night since I've had them installed. What do you think?

And yes, you can see the neon from this view..because I took the picture laying on my belly. You can't see the neon tubes at all since I got it lowered, which is a plus

Looks awesome dude! The only way glow bars work with any car is that when you tuck them under the car. you can't see the bar itself. This is something I've also wanted to tinker with. Good job!

Looks cool man, I love your car.

And Jeff, I really like those blue ones. If I ever got neons, I'd get the blue ones to match my stripe.

You should replace the stripe with blue string neon.

i hear good thinkgs about the led style too but i have not seen any on a car yet to compair, anyone have the led style on their car that can post a pics. i seen some led's where you can change the colors and make em pulse to the music you play. sounds kinda interesting although i don't think i would use that feature but it would be neat to have.

looks nice, where did you get the idea for white?

personally i don't care for the led setups as they aren't nearly as bright. however the option to change colors is very nice and something that definately makes the package more attractive. it's a pain to hide 3 sets of colors.

now im torn between gettin neon's or LED's. my friend has blue led under body lights on his 00 s10 and he got them off of ebay for $20. im thinkin of the streetglow gold series kit in blue but ive hear they can break in the winter from the cold. is that true?

as far as winter....anything plastic is more brittle in the winter but you should be fine.

I've never heard of them breaking, I've got em under my 89 firebird and they've yet to break. Even if they do there's a garantee by street glow. Just as long as the outside tube doesn't break. I've also added blue neons under the dash, replaced the cluster gage lights for blue ones (but theve turned white now because I bought the cheap bulbs). I put string lights along the back side panel where the speakers are. I've also redid my t-bar material, ripping out the dome light and replacing it with a neon tube. Looks cool, but it's not very bright. It sucks when your actually in need of light. But most girls don't realize that so it works.

idea
Those look awesome. I never knew you had neons on your car JeffW. I think yours totally go with the car. Its Perfect.

Hey guys i have a great idea. I think im going to make a grill out of the diamond cut wire grill stuff. I am going to make the grill black but behind the grill put some of that string neon stuff so it will glow out of the grill. I think this would look mean at night.

i don;t think the string glows enough, but i have not seen it in person. i would get some short neons to put above or below the grill opening. the do make them in diffrent lengths.

i think the string may just outline stuff not like the underbody tubes send out the glow.

i have the neon string stuff in my sub box to aluminate my subs, u can see the string but its facing the subs and its not really bright. if u did the outline of something it will be bright but wont throw alot of light like the neon tubes.
