Wow all the explanation makes that guy sound liek one of the oxi-clean infomercail guys. Its ok i guess i dont have a bird or ttops, is there a piece that goes on the center strip or is teh center of the bird always missing.

We use glass-etch vinyl at our sign shop and you CAN'T tell the difference between real etched glass and vinyl. It's a great product.

looks too odd with the gap in the center of the bird. Maybe if they had carried it onto the t-top center bar. That way the bird would look whole from directly above. Then planes and helicopters from al over would compliment you!
No seriously I think one bird for each side would have looked better. I have a friend who got his tops eched on his 4th gen TA at the on site etcher @ the TA nats in OH. They even rube some paint in to tint the etching. An interesting look.

I saw this on e-bay and almost posted it myself. It's an interesting idea, but I saw all the same downsides mentioned on here. 1- the guy sounds like a tool, talking it up as if it's high quality when it really isn't. 2- the gap in the center definitely makes it look half-a$$ed.
