Well, way back when you asked, I told you to leave the white with the yellow and silver stripes.

Since you didn't listen... ...I at least have to say you've done a wonerful job!!!

I for one like the fact that you re-striped it! Very cool!:hail:

Looing good that almost exactly how I am going to be doing mine ecept, I am going top paint the bottom side body color and go with some more custom parts. Wish I had somethin that nice to start with though. Where did you get your fuel lines and did you ever get the new info stickers on the door.

Warm soapy water. I don't need undercoating out here in So. California so I didn't undercoat it.

What amazes me ,looking at the undercarrige pic's is,how close the overspray pattern fits the factory's...
Was it planned or luck?
I know Vette restorers pay big bucks for correct overspray patterns
Again...VERY nice work!
Happy New Year

The undercarrige was cleaned before the car was painted and the painter was instructed to paint the rockers all the way down. The overspray pattern wasn't expected to come out the way it did. I'm very pleased with the way it came out and the fact that you noticed. Thanks!

great car... I like that you put all the badges/ striping back on because I love how the irocs look. And like someone said, most people will think it's factory paint with all of that stuff back on there. Nice work.

A waste...hardly, not when you compare you idea! Well think of it this way...what is any moisture gets in the car! if its in primer then its prone to rust. primer is not a water barrier. And that brush on truck liner. I bet to get enough to adequately cover teh interior would be more $ then just spraying the inside with paint. Plus it would take a heack of alot longer to brush it and be more messy! Its one thing if you don;t have the car down that far and have to pay someone to take it apart then paint it. But if its already apart and can be painted why not take advantage?! Its alot harder to go back and do it. Its a paint to tkae a dash part! I for one would not want to do it and decide to go back later!

Truck bed liner is not that exspensive and it doesnt take that long we do the floor boards on all the cars we do its much tougher also you cant scratch it and it will help with the road noise. Good paint can cost around 200 a gallon altho the paint does look nice not saying its bad just not the way im going to go.
