I was thinkin about doin a solid stripe down the front fenders, closer to the door, with "383" in the middle, and then 2 smaller stripes on the outside of that. I was just curious if anyone has done this. Or jsut to see what u guys have done to ur cars other than just paint. graphics, vinyls, logos, whatever. lets see em!
BTW: heres an MS paint rendering of about what Im talkin about. The stripes wud be in white (or something that contraditcs black). Might kinda ghost em in

Why would you pt "383" on your car if it's only a 305??

the design looks cool, but i'm not quite understanding where it would be placed on the car. Can you explain it another way?

is it gonna go down all the way down the fender? i say go for it if it is just in the top part of hte fender. As long as everything looks clean as a finished product, i think it will look nice.

ive never really been a big fan of horizontal stripes, which is why I came up with that design. I was also wonderig how it wud look if it wrapped around both ront fenders and continued over the hood and connected the two sides. theres a calander at work with an old Cuda that was like that, but it was only dual stripes, and it was around the back of the car. both rear quarters and the trunk.

i'm not sure if i would end up liking it in that location or not. What color is the car? and are the stripes going to be black?

Those look gay. If you're going to do it, do them like grand sport stripes or possibly the hockey stick stripes. If you do them though, be careful that they're not too round. That wouldn't flow with the body lines.

Im kinda likin KonArtist's pic, but still decidin on the secondary color. I want black definitely as a base color, and I know white wud offset it a good bit. but i think it might stand out too much. Maybe instead of white i can ghost it in with some blood red. Dunno, its a ways off before I get to that, so I shud have some freakin idea as to what I want by then.

I have to say, that Mustang looks soooo much more badass than the 2005 version that imitates it. It'd be really interesting to see them right next to eachother

That car, I have seen it before somewheres...
Graphics can look great on a thirdgen, particularly one with a single color paint scheme and no other graphics. I just put the factory decals back on mine without the lower stripe, but the mustang above looks great! I don't think it would work with iroc logos or any other graphics on the car, moderation is key in graphics.

Really Its up to you but this would just be killer color combo for that.
I would also carry the stripe onto the hood......not sure how though.

IM a big fan of the 69-70 Mach 1. My brother had a 69 Mach 1 with the 428. I had a 69 Mach 1 that i put a 429 in, loved that car and was a blast to drive. Some older lady pulled out right in front of me it was raining and I t-boned her. Totaled the car.

I plan on Having one sitting next to my IROC in the garage one day. Just have to come across the right car.
