Looked into BOZE wheels today....
I knew i was in trouble when teh guy behind the counter hung up the phone and goes "do you have an extra pair of pants in your truck?" (he did seriously) 17x8" boze stingers, polished, 450 a wheel which is a hair past my current budget. So i need a wheel that is decently priced, 5 spoke, looks good, just to hold me off for the show season since i dont think peeling clear will get em good points at shows. So i am going to run a 16x8, yea i know but my goodyears are brand new so i can just swap em over to these, $183 a wheel, 5 spoke, and fairly new so not alot of people have em, i saw one in person and was blown away. He said tehy can get a set in and mount some tires on em so i can see what they look like on the car, i did about 12 photoshops tonight and this was really one of the few wheels that looked good.

$450 is not bad at all a wheel for the boze rims. they retail $780 non show polish versions. email them and tell them your looking to purchase a set but boyd's are $100 less and see what they will do. just might work for you but you didn't hear it from me.

yea..
wheels are one of thoes things where it doesnt cost anywhere near as much to make as they sell for..... the "normal" prices are waaaay inflated....
so you just have to talk to the people selling them, and ignore the published price.

They do not compliment your car, which should have some skinnies up front with big rear wheels and slicks. That is just the look of your car though IMO. They also look cheap and out dated. That style of wheel has been around for a long time, but that is me. I say if you are going to get wheels in the future, save your money or use it towards something else besides wheels you are "settling" for, because lets face it, you would not be having this conversation if you were set on getting them for yourself.

i like it, very retro style though. many billet companies have identical wheels of that design so if that's the look your going for you'll have easily 4-5 wheels that you can play with pricing. as far as centercaps. hotwheels or not it can always be altered. i agree though i wouldn't leave that on there if i were to use them.

MrDude..those are very nice knock offs of the Fikse FM's.
Several years ago, I ordered the FISKE FM10's, and if I recall, they came out to $3k+ (18x8 and 18x10).
When they came in, they were BEAUTIFUL! Went to install them on my car, and the backspacing for the fronts were wrong! After two weeks of negotiations with FIKSE, they basically told me that they could not support this type of wheel on my car!
In any case, FISKE has put a sour taste in my mouth..will never buy their wheels again.
Definetly post some pics of your ride with the new rims!
Most likely, I will be switching the IROC's to that design very shortly!

Problem i have is i cant take a car with perfect paint, soon to be spotless interior to superchevy, denver rod and custom and teh other shows i have lined up with peeling clear coat. Out here there is one place that will chrome aluminum wheels and its 168 a wheel and 5 weeks turn around time so why not spend 20 bucks more and get all new ones, i am looking at mine too but am so worried if i screw it up i will have to kill myself and there isnt a single camaro out here in boneyards or parting out with my stlye wheels so i could "practice" before i go for perfection.
Thanks for your input guys, i am not a fan of teh hotwheels logo, but it could be alot worse, it is different thats for sure
Those almost look like teh boze stingers, again i absolutely love that look, five spoke liek stock but i guess improved looks
Dont get me wrong i love the fatties/skinnies combo and actaully the next stages might be going a little pro street look for it sinc ei absolutely love that look. However i am building this for the best of all worlds, i can show it, drag it, road course and occasionally street drive it, first stage is all looks which is basically what i have now, then motor, then air ride

I like the look of those mb's but have yet to find one listed that will fit a thirdgen. Only thing the guy at the wheel/tire place showed they had for a thirdgen was teh mb kane, which looks kinda hokey to me in the photoshop.
My interior plans changed so the wheels will be getting done sooner than i figured, i am really about to get those hot wheels on order, i can still use my tires since its 16x8 and since the wheels are decently priced i'll have money for my 406, the car isnt a daily driver anymore so when i have the money for the boze's i can sell the 16x8's and they'll be in perfect shape!

If you buy the 3-piece wheels they have them in 18"+ sizes and also .5" sizes, ex: 18x8.5" as well as the norm of 8,9 and 10". Where did you find a price? I am tempted to call but I am not sure on what finish I would go with. I have emailed both Boze and ZE Forged for pics of certain finishes on their wheels. Funny, I got responses from two different guys with the same last name, possibly brothers. Anyway, I would figure no less than $2K + tires.

I really like the "hotwheels"...agreed that the centers would have to go. A wheel swap might be in the future for me

Mr. Dude,
Do you know how much each of those weighs? I'm assuming they're single piece wheels based on the price correct?
Cause I was also looking at the FM/10's as well as a set of HRE wheels that look similar. But as was stated before, the Fikses and the HRE's run around 3g for a set
