Post your pics of Dealer made 3rd gens. Here's one from a car show that was custom dealer version from a Dealer in New Mexico called Galles Chevrolet (mods, all of these images are hosted elsewhere) It was called a "black knight" edition

I think it was just aesthetic mods. I don't remember their being anything under the hood worth talking about. Looks like the Yenko Days didn't extend to 3rd gens.

Theirs more full size pics of it on this page of the gallery.

If you have any, post em up.

The photo of the wheel/fender: the paint doesn't look very good.

View thru the t-top: Is the dash pad cracked?

Funky bolt in the hatch hinge.

Targa band = eewww.

it's also missing the cap for the overflow bottle. Not sure if that's a crack or not but what ever it is, it's big.

My friend has a 91 Camaro Convertible with the 350 and a 5 speed from the factory. Guy that owned it before him knew the dealer.

I'll be the first to call BS on this one. It may very well have a 350 and a T-5 but it's not factory.

Yes, the dealer installed it. Sorry, lack of sleep and being in class makes me type things I don't mean and doesn't allow me to recheck them. Sorry for the confusions guys.

Nope, but they did come damn close. The last yenko camaro built was in 1981. Although not a 427, Don put a turbocharged 350 under the hood. he called it the Yenko Turbo Z. no one knows for sure, but its believed that only 19 of these were produced. Of which only 9 are known to exist today.

looks like we missed it by one year. Oh well, legacy has to end somewhere.

chevrolet also released a special 'olympic edition' camaro in 1984 to celebrate the games. I think it only had visual enhancements though, nothing under the hood.

That hood is interesting. Looks like stick on "Ram Air" inductions. People put them on everything. And wow...what is that car doing at a car show. See where they painted the rims and they are all rock-chipped? There are tons of things wrong there.
