Finally my Formula has a spoiler again

finally received the spoiler i bought off ebay. it was different color so i just took a rattle can and sprayed it. looks like poo but i just wanted to match it with the rest of the car. it looks a lot better with the spoiler. the taillights add a nice touch too

here are some pics. the spoiler is only held on by the bolts that go thru the hatch, but my old one at the edges also had what looked like clips glued to the glass metal frame. i dont have these clips anymore so does anyone know how i can attatch the side edges of the spoiler to the metal edge of the glass? anyone know what im talkin about? when i go over bumps i can hear the thing vibrate a little. in the last pic between the wing and the body is what's left of the glue that was holding one of the clips.

That looks pretty good. I'd say your best bet to finding some of those clips would be a junkyard, I'm sure other people will have more suggestions though. Is your car lowered? It looks good.

I think the mudflaps look cool and they keep the dirt off.,but only if they had a firebird decal instead of the pontiac letters

They definitly dont look cool, and i think from behind look down right stupid because they are so much thinner then the tires just looks funny. Besides youre not going to kick up much unless youre driving it when the roads are wet, and in that case your car is gonna get dirty anyways. Lose the mud flaps and youd have a sweet ride

I say ditch the flaps, i about but them on the car and well decided against it. Besides the mud adds character to a car.

Be careful-- driving around with the front legs of the spoiler unmounted will cause the spoiler legs to fatigue and break off while you're driving. I've seen it.
