Hey I remember seeing a front nose emblem online which was all black or carbon fiber looking where the red/white/blue stripes are supposed to be, and still had the silver bow tie on the bottom.. now I can't seem to find it. I could have sworn that it was sold at hawks (one of tgo's sponsers)... can anyone help me locate one, or perhaps someone has one for sale? thanks for any help!

The one for my 86 is a "gunmetal" or gray color with the silver bowtie on top of it and the red,white, and blue above that. I know that GM made more than a few emblems for the 3rd gen f-body. I found this out while trying to find the oem replacement for my particular year after painting it. Maybe this is what you are looking for? I have never seen an oem looking front nose emblem with carbonfiber in it. Check out Classic Industries, I am pretty sure they have them on their web site.
