Finally got my rims!
Well I finally got the rims I had been waiting over a month for.
Traded in my gold cross lace GTA rims for some custom built American Racing 2-piece Torq-thrust II's that are powdercoated grey to match the car.
Much nicer design than the torq-d's with more chrome and larger lip.
What do y'all think?

Plenty.
245 is the recommend size.
I wasn't trying to have the tires rub on either end.
The rears stick out the perfect amount without exceeding the wheelwell as well.

Those would look good on my '71 Trans Am!
Lucerne blue with the white stripe.
These wheels in fact remind me of the old style rally wheels and was the reason I got them.
Not too flashy, but to set off the car with a classic look.

The reason I ask is because my passenger side isnt exactly straight... my 215/65/15's just barely clear.. do you think the 245's are taller than mine? and they look awesome, really like the center caps.

Wow, that's a lot of compliments, lol, thanks.
Means a lot coming from some of you guys with really nice cars as well.
if this is the case, then you might have a problem rubbing.
Yes, those are the rims, made by American Racing.
They custom build them to your application, takes about 4-6 weeks at any place you order.

Who makes the rims?
Are those the TT2 classic CL 205 series?

Yeah man, nice choice indeed. I had a set but with 17x11" rears. I have pics of them on the car but without tires. The color flows well with your car and it is a change of pace from all of the chrome you see now. Nice style of wheel. Good to see someone put those on a thirdgen and posted it.

Very Nice!
I LOVE TT2 wheels.
Im getting ready to get a set of Torq-Thrust II Classic Custom Offset(Series CL205) for my TA. Thinking 255 50 16s in the rear with 245 50 16s up front on 16x8 wheels(might go 16x8.5 in the rear if I can).

Those rims looks sweet on there, very nice man. I also like the clear side markers.
